    Dr. Tom Hooyman has more than 15 years of experience as an ethicist, consultant and trainer to numerous organizations throughout the United States. His primary expertise is in providing focused, intelligent, impassioned leadership, vision and direction in the areas of designing and implementing ethical decision-making and leadershi p models; developing long term and short term strategic plans for growth, expansion and change; aligning internal and external cultures throughout mergers and acquisitions; anticipating the changing needs of the community and adapting strategies to meet them; and facilitating the implementati on of e-technology solution in learning, compliance and knowledge management applications.

    It is with a passion for excelling in challenging environments that Tom uses his ability to build strong relationships and create partnerships within diverse communities that promote, advance and strengthen individuals and organizations.     Previously Tom was vice president of theology and ethics for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), a leading health care system comprised of 61 hospitals including 45 long-term care, assisted, independent and residential living facilities spanning 19 states with $6 billion in revenues. Prior to CHI Tom served as the ethicist for St. John’s Mercy Health System, one of the largest hospitals in the United States.

    Tom has kept his hand in health care and is one of only 9 ethicists in the United States on the Center for Disease Control’s Ethics Sub-committee. Dr. Hooyman is also a board member of the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau; Treasurer of the National Speakers Association/Colorado; and President-elect of the Denver Cherry Creek International Rotary.
