    Sue Miller brings more than 20 years of leadership skills to the training, speaking and consulting professions. She combines experiences as a management and leadership consultant, corporate trainer, administrator, and television director to help organizations develop strong leadership in a pleasant and fair work environment. She specializes in the heartfelt side of living, seeking to improve inner joy, productivity, and performance by sensitively challenging others to recognize the contribution that they uniquely can make in both their personal and professional lives.

    As founder and President of Miller Training & Consulting, Sue designs and develops training courseware. Her courses include Equipping the New Manager, Presentation Skills , Writing the Performance Appraisal, Interviewing Skills, Managing Change, Communicating with Confidence, Interpersonal Skills, and The Power of Recognition. She uses Behavioral Profiles to examine an individual’s strengths and weaknesses and to help each person make application in order to create greater inner peace, joy, and accomplishment.

    Sue was an integral part of the training specialist team that launched the Human Resources Development Department for MCI, Inc in the early 90’s. While at MCI, she directed the $1.2 million, three-day Excellence in Service Annual Recognition Event in San Francisco and San Diego. For her dedication to elevating workforce performance and results-based consulting, she was awarded MCI’s Hero Award for outstanding achievement.

    She is a member of the National Speaker Association and speaks for corporate and associational meetings across America. Her topics are Heart-of-the-MatterTM topics, ones that all audiences love because they touch hearts. Issues she loves to work with are happiness, contribution, character, integrity, and being all you can be. Sue is categorized as an inspirational and motivational speaker.

    She is also an active member in the American Society of Training and Development. She serves her community through active participation in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, The North Texas Women’s Business Council, the Assistance League of Collin County and PEO. She has served on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, the local chapter of National Speakers Association and on the Women’s Advisory Board for her church.

    Sue is married to her best friend, has two grown daughters, and holds an M.Ed. from the University of Houston, after spending most of her college years at the University of Missouri. She loves the lake, the woods, and the mountains and retreats to them as often as possible from their home in the Dallas suburbs.
