Mary Cornish, Principal, Aspen High School Sally Ogden is an energetic and charismatic teacher and speaker who has been in the classroom for over 25 years, both in middle school and senior high. While teaching French and psychology, she also presents at workshops, inservices and conferences for teachers and parents throughout the Western US. Her enthusiastic and compassionate presentations are current, dynamic and widely acclaimed. Sally has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages/Secondary Education from Colorado State University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Northern Colorado. In 1977, Sally was selected as the Colorado Teacher of the Year and received the Honor Alum Award for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CSU. She has been an adjunct instructor for both CSU and Adams State College, having taught courses in Cooperative Learning for 18 years. Sally is trilingual and loves art and travel. She has had offers to work as a full time consultant, but has to date not been willing to leave the classroom. She is very proud to have been chosen every year by her students as one of their favorite teachers. Sally Ogden has conducted workshops, keynotes and inservice presentations for all major and many small school districts in Colorado, including: Jefferson County, Denver, Boulder, Adams #12, Adams #50, Douglas County, Colorado Springs, Aurora, Loveland, Fort Collins, Aspen, St. Vrain, Grand Junction, Burlington, Merino, Longmont, Steamboat Springs, Cherry Creek, Mapleton and Trinidad.
