    Armed with British charm and an All-American "can-do" spirit, Penny Paine has travelled to nearly every state in the union in her ten years as a trainer and consultant on girl's issues and gender equity. She has conducted over 270 workshops and is available for keynotes, break-out sessions and workshops.

    As a recognized expert on equity career and life planning for young adults, Penny was instrumental in the development of the National Women Helping Girls With Choices project, which has now served over 20,000 girls and boys in 44 states.

    Penny is the author, co-author and editor of nine children's books and two career journals. Travelling throughout the United States, Europe and Canada, Penny presents gender equity and curricula resource workshops to educators, community groups and students. A graduate of the University of London, Penny has many years of experience working with girls (and boys) through her involvement with the Girls Incorporated programs. She is a teacher, volunteer and publisher. Her current consulting contracts include The California Department of Education Office of Gender Equity and Girls Incorporated Region 1 Service Center.

    Penny lives in California with her social worker husband, John, youngest son Miles and dog, Dougle. They have four adult children living in California, New Mexico and New Zealand.
