As a young police officer, Glenn’s life was forever altered when he was hit by a drunk and high driver, leaving him a paraplegic. Through eight months of hospitalization and intolerable pain, Glenn had to learn to endure, overcome and then excel at life again. And he did! Not only did Glenn return to law enforcement for another 14 years, he also became a much sought after professional speaker, an instructor at California State University Northridge and a top-ten nationally ranked wheelchair tennis competitor. Most importantly, Glenn developed the skills for success that he has been sharing with audiences of professionals since 1989. Most recently, Glenn produced and was master of ceremonies of the Annual “Festival of Human Abilities,” at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach , California . 10,000 people came to celebrate the abilities of people with disabilities. In his continuous partnership with NASA, Glenn continues to educate and motivate their EEOC personnel at all of their centers. Glenn is featured in several “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books, has been on the cover of “Success Magazine”, as a lead article in “Human Resources Executive”, and on every major TV network. Glenn has received numerous commendations as a law enforcement officer and as a citizen of Ventura County . By overcoming challenges and through his commitment to inspiring and educating others, Glenn is living proof that… ALWAYS THERE IS A WAY ! |
