Charles O. Glenn, fluent in all aspects of entertainment marketing, from film and television to electronic media, now brings his 30 years of experience to the motion picture and television production arena. Through his new company, GlennIris Entertainment, he and his partner, Barbara Cocks, have a variety of theatrical motion picture and television projects in assorted stages of development. “Presumed Guilty”, a one-hour television dramatic series, based on the true story of an ex-convict and tattooed gangbanger who gets his amazing act together and becomes a dynamic criminal defense attorney, is being readied in association with Jennifer Lopez Entertainment and Fox TV Services.

"Tilden", a theatrical motion picture about tennis legend Bill Tilden, is currently in active development with producing partner, Baldwin Entertainment. The screenplay is based on Sports Illustrated and HBO's distinguished sports writer and commentator, Frank Deford's novel, "Big Bill:The Triumphs and The Tragedy".

As worldwide head of marketing for Universal, Paramount, Filmways/AIP and Orion Pictures he created and supervised successful and innovative global marketing campaigns for literally hundreds of movies and guided six of them — “The Godfather”, “The Godfather II”, “Amadeus”, “Platoon”, “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Dances With Wolves” to 33 Academy Awards, including Oscars for Best Picture.

In recognition of Charles’ many extraordinary achievements in the development of marketing techniques and concepts the National Association of Theatre Owners honored him with the “NATO Chairman’s Marketing Achievement Award”. He has also received CLIOs for the U.S. campaigns on “Platoon” and “Murder On The Orient Express” and “The Hollywood Reporter’s Key Art Award” for “The Silence of the Lambs”, among others.

He pioneered the marketing concept “strategic alliance marketing”, the creative co-branding partnership that piggybacks film advertising with advertising for other consumer products. He also served as v.p. marketing chief for Paramount Television.

He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Screen Actors Guild and the Will Rogers/Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema and Television, where he taught in the Peter Stark Producing Program.

A graduate of the Joanne Barron/D.W. Brown School for the Dramatic Art, he has appeared in several films as an actor and played a feature role in Jonathan Demme’s Academy Awardwinning, “Philadelphia.” Charles served on active military duty as a Captain in the United States Army.
