    Innovative Thinking

According to a recent Fast Company survey, the typical manager today works 163 more hours than 30 years ago, and must field 36 phone interruptions and 52 emails per day! Sound familiar? This increasingly fragmented, reactive, multitasking, always connected work style is a real inhibitor of creativity and innovation – if we allow it. Result: burnout, "fire fighting," and poor morale.

In this dynamic, example-filled presentation, veteran keynoter Robert B. Tucker teaches you and your attendees new ways to reclaim the space necessary to do your best work. If you’re looking for an uplifting, entertaining and audience-involving session, look no further. Tucker’s uniquely practical program is based on interviews with over 50 leading innovators, from award-winning advertising designers to CEOs to entrepreneurs – who are creating today’s hot products and services. Tucker got them to talk about their work habits and problem-solving styles. Here is the seminar that reveals powerful, yet surprisingly simple methods your attendees can use right away to jump-start their creativity, and motivate others to take action.

This presentation is perfect as a keynote for annual conventions, or as a stimulating kickoff for your company’s management meeting. It is appropriate for bottom-line oriented groups, such as business owners, and highly appropriate for professional societies that are not.

As a result of this session, you will gain, you’ll learn and you’ll benefit from ideas such as:

    • How to use Innovative Thinking to meet any challenge
    • Paying attention to “happy accidents” and serendipity
    • Five principles of constant innovation
    • How to Fortify Your Idea Factory
    • How to Build the Buy-in For Your Ideas
    • Techniques for fostering a creative environment
    • How to wake up meetings and brainstorm better ideas

Formats: Can be delivered as a 1 hour keynote, 90 minute general session, or interactive half-day session. Each program is customized to the specific client.

    The Intelligent Talk Show

Have you ever wished there was a way to spice up those important – but often boring –panel discussions at your association or company meeting? Now there is.

Recently some of your fellow meeting professionals have retired that drab, draped table with the squeaky microphones and the hunched over panelists. Instead, they have introduced an exciting new format, produced and hosted by Robert B. Tucker, that is billed as “The Intelligent Talk Show.” Result: Good-by snoresville. Hello packed house.

    • Panelists become “guests” on a “live” show and are more animated, lively and better prepared to get their message across
    • Guests are more willing to tackle the tough issues that create industry buzz, and keep members coming back next year
    • The “Talk Show” often shows up in meeting evaluations as the “highlight of the entire convention”

The talk show is easy. Here’s how it works:

    • Guests are selected by you and your program committee
    • Using your existing general session platform, a Letterman-style city lights backdrop, desk and leather chairs can be rented from a local production house
    • “Commercial breaks” are often included to add excitement
    • Tucker coordinates with each guest via conference calls and one-on-one phone interviews to zero in on what each guest wants to convey, and to coach more creative, lively ways of conveying that information.
