A Shining Example . . .
Gloria has overcome many challenges in her life, both personal and professional. Her biggest challenge? Being stabbed in a senseless act of violence in 2004. She was told she would never regain full use of her severed leg. She didn’t listen and instead focused on rebuilding her leg. She was still alive. The rest was up to her. She continues to work on the emotional aspect of the injury and deals with intermittent pain/discomforts. With the help of "the power of positive thinking," determination and a lot of hard work, she walks proudly today with no sign of a limp. Eventually she hopes to one day be able to talk about the healing process of this senseless act of violence as an inspiration to others.

Overcoming obstacles is what inspires her. Achieving dreams against the odds. Take a simple tree. Dormant each winter, it blossoms again each spring. Gloria can help people develop strong roots and bloom fully.
